ABOUT.

Originally from Texas, I relocated to Chicago to attend Northwestern University. There, I studied Communications and Psychology to eventually graduate with honors. Now happily in Atlanta and glad to be close to southern cooking.

My personal hobbies include tennis, jewelry design and creation, rock-climbing, boardgames, attempting to learn how to cook, and film. As a cinephile, I prefer to purchase DVDs, fueled by a love of special features (I have been known to watch a movie, and then immediately rewatch it with director's commentary).

At the beginning of COVID-19 quarantine, I transformed my jewelry hobby into a small business, creating and building the brand Ellie Jane Jewelry (@elliejanejewelry).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
My experience includes all areas of communication fields: advertising, film, marketing, public relations, and event planning. Production is my main focus.

I have been involved with two sides of production— agency/client-side and that of a production house. These differing positions have led to participation in all stages of the production process: client pitches, pre-production (including bidding and planning), creation of campaign development materials, coordinating and executing shoots, and managing post-production. I have produced for a range of mediums including TV, radio, online video, and social media content to run in the European, Middle Eastern, and collective North American markets.

It is all about expecting the unexpected, rapidly resolving spontaneous issues. To excel in this environment requires a comfort with chaos and the critical thinking skills to calmly, efficiently solve the problem at hand. I'm a quick learner and thrive in these situations—facing down "fires" and the pressure of quick-thinking to put them out. To succeed at this is supported by impeccable attention to detail, excellent time-management and organizational skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.

My role is based on communication, trust, and managing relationships. To produce requires the ability to adapt to the certain styles of how teams function and interact. I practice these skills when regularly engaging with different teams while executing separate projects across different brands, simultaneously.
